The Bluegrass Judo Championship was held on Oct. 27, 2001 in Bowling Green, KY. The following are the results for the overall team competition and the 5 man team competition. Special Outstanding Coaching Awards were given to Fred Barnett and Clint Brizendine of the Bowling Green KY. YMCA Judo Team. The outstand competitor awards were given to Robin Friedly of Bowling Green KY, and Madilyn Harmon from Evansville IN. There were 39 team from across the country represented at the event.
